  I had many meals at this place towards the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020. The shashlik is absolutely mouth-watering. Loud Life music is the only downside I can think of, although this is to be expected in most Kazakh restaurants. Most waiters and waitresses do not speak English. Not really a showstopper in my case, anyway.

  One of the "classics" in Almaty. They should change their name though as it doesn't reflect the mood and the style of the place. Good, diverse menu and delicious food for reasonable prices. The service is a hit or miss though.

  medium quality food and pricey for locals, but must if you want dive deeper in Almaty casual culture of restaurants
