  One of the few hotels where you don't need to make your bed. There is only one minus. Shower and toilet are shared on the floor.

  Normal hotel. We stayed in it for 2 (two) days in August 2015, in single room No. 9. It feels good. Towels, slippers (though Chinese rubber), TV (though for some reason there are no local channels, but I wanted to watch Kazakh news). The room is clean. The staff are friendly. The interior in the hotel itself is also pleasing. Clean, beautiful. Toilet and shower for this room are in the hallway, shared (like in a dorm). And the watering can in the shower ran from all the cracks (but this is a trifle). Overall, I liked the hotel. Everything that is written above, I wrote in 2017. And now I want to write a review about hotel accommodation 12 hours in advance, December 30, 2017. I arrived in Petropavlovsk on the night of December 30-31 and stayed at the "Admiral" in room 9 for 12 hours. Then I wanted to go to number 5. But upon arrival I was in for a few surprises. 1 surprise. Raised the price for rooms by 1,000 tenge !!! Rooms 9 and 5 cost 5,000 tenge per day! (used to cost 4,000). These are the tiniest rooms of 2x2 m², where there is nothing but a bed and a TV set with only 5 channels and those are Russian. There are no local channels. 2 surprise. In room 9, the mattress is lumpy, some lumps inside. It is impossible to sleep. The price was raised, but the quality of services did not change. If only they changed the mattress. I did not go to the shower, which is shared in the hotel. I can't say anything about the watering can, which ran from all cracks, but I think nothing has changed either (although if I'm wrong about the watering can in the shower, correct me). I thought, I thought. I weighed everything and in the evening of the 31st I left for another hotel, where for 5000 the room has everything! P.S. I would like to contact the owner of this hotel. On what basis do they require a passport as a deposit when checking into a room? I have not seen anywhere that the hotel and the hotel demanded documents as collateral! You probably don't know that there is an article in the Criminal Code for illegal seizure of an identity document ?! (even more so for a citizen of another state). I should have called the police and wrote a statement to your hotel. You are a hotel, you must register, and not require documents as collateral. Next time I will do just that, I will specially stay with you for a day and if they require a passport as a deposit, I will call the police. And everyone who reads my review and stays at this hotel when they require a passport as a deposit, call the police. Let them get an administrative fine a couple of times. My mark is one star. The hotel has deteriorated over the past year.
