::House of Culture "Istoki" is a two-storey building with an area of over 1.5 thousand square meters. The facility was built in 1962 as the House of Culture of the Kokshetau Instrument-Making Plant. The enterprise has been operating in the city since the beginning of the 20th century, but in 1997 it was closed due to the collapse of the USSR, the crisis and the outflow of the population. In the Soviet years, art groups functioned in the House of Culture, which repeatedly became diploma winners of regional and republican amateur art shows. Now it hosts New Year's events, they usually look like a complete arthouse, but at the same time they are funny. This building just needs a major overhaul. At the moment, stand for sale.
